Four Winds

Today is a quilting adventure!

I have finished another small quilt. It is a wall hanging for a friend to hang in her newly decorated office.

I call this one “Four Winds.” The quilt measures 36″ x 36″ and is made entirely of flying geese blocks, pointing to the North, South, East & West compass points.

I machine quilted the straight seams for stabilization and hand quilted each ‘goose’ and added some ghost geese in the plain white background.

The binding uses scraps (leftover from cutting the geese) with white corners. I added a hanging sleeve on the back, and it is now ready to hang up.

I love the cheerful colours on the white background!

Thanks for visiting. Stay safe!

Connie
